| Comes out on Monday. Tried the demo, and it feels like a combination of Gears of War (shooter aspect) and Darksiders (melee aspect.) _________________ | gut wrote: | | Skresh is a 20 year old african american homosexual furfag, but hes ALSO... Skresh, I hereby command you.
You will relate to me, in detail, everything that I should know about warhammer40k, so that I may make an informed decision on whether or not to do some research on it myself to see if I want to tell everyone Im gonna buy it but then never think about it again. |

I uninstalled it. I tried ladders and got pissed off because MM/MMM were the only shit I could fight against. I told Blizz I cheated so they could reset my stats (and get back to the copper league,) but no, they refused my request._________________ | gut wrote: | | Skresh is a 20 year old african american homosexual furfag, but hes ALSO... You will relate to me, in detail, everything that I should know about warhammer40k, so that I may make an informed decision on whether or not to do some research on it myself to see if I want to tell everyone Im gonna buy it but then never think about it again. | Warhammer 40,000 is a tabletop wargame produced by Games Workshop, currently in its 5th Edition. It depicts a dystopian hellhole of a future where the majority of the human race in the form of the gargantuan Imperium Of Man is the dominant but dwindling force in the galaxy and constantly (and we mean CONSTANTLY) wars against heretics, aliens and communists for their survival.

As for the game: looks pretty repetitive tbh, think I'd tire fast. Also, it's the fucking Ultramarines, so it can go suck a dick. |

| ^It does look like it would get repetitive... hence my recommendation as a rental.
Definitely worth the demo. _________________ |

well re-install it, i play every weeked, we can do 2s and ill rape the obligatory MMM guy while you rape the complimentary void ray guy.
actually i havent played ladder since way last year when the computer began to fuck up. Now that its been working for a couple weeks, ive been playing the campaign, and playing a few games against AI trying to leanr hotkeys, and trying to learn how to play zerg, since im quite possibly the worst zerg player in history even tho its my favorite race.

| I remember in SC1 my fav thing to do was to set up my hatchery facility right in front of their base.... Kinda risky, but I pulled it off a fair number of times.... and once it's set up, they're kinda fucked.

| In SC1 my favorite thing was to zerg the whole fucking map so they couldnt do anything, then fill up every one of my overlords with mostly hydras and then spend the rest of my supply on mutas, then launch the mutas into their base to absorb damage for a few seconds while I dropped a full load of shit from every single overlord i had directly into the middle of their shit.
But that was fucking rare. The other player had to be good enough to survive all the crazy shit you were doing, but not good enough to beat you, otherwise the match would be over far too quickly to do a proper zerg super-drop |

| I took the whole map too, my tactic was to lock them in their base by building a forward outpost outside their choke. I loaded it up with sunkens and 4 hatcheries pumping out constant units to basically turtle them in. I could take the whole map to fund a massive unit advantage to throw units at their wall keeping them from building a substantial strike force. I locked them in controlling the air with the flying suicide bombers on patrol pattern just out of AA's range.
Problem is getting that first foothold. _________________ |

| ^Id kick your ass if you tried that in sc2.
of course anyone would, as that shit was really fucking popular in sc2 when i was playing.
If you were playing someone decent, youd run up and build right at the bottom of their ramp and deny them their natural expo.
With toss you'd start with a couple cannons then by the time they can kill them you have a bunch of units and you win. (or if they are bad just walk right into their base and start building cannons behind their minerals)
terran uses bunkers of course, with them being salvageable so you can walk them closer and closer without losing money, and then you have reapers and shit to really mess with their heads.
with zerg you just 6pool all in with your workers to right at the beginning
in any case it was really popular and im sure everyone knows how to beat it efficiently while typing messages like "cnnon rsh rly?!?!??/1111" or "lolOlolkkkk noob QQ???" and other shit like that.
Whats really fun though is if they clearly know how to beat your cheese, and do it, and talk shit, but then you come back and whip the shit out of them anyway because you know more than a list of build orders and a few hotkeys.
