| This is about the only game I'm looking forward to in 2011, so I'm gonna make a thread about it.
Apparently attributes have been removed (strength, intellect, luck, etc) I don't really know how they'll make up for that, but I am extremely apprehensive as to how good the game will be with their removal. I've also heard that Birthsigns will be removed, but this is just speculation and I have not seen any concrete proof at all that this is the case (I certainly hope it isn't).
You can have one spell assigned to each hand (I don't know if you can combine different elements, but there are different variations of spell effects pertaining to each specific element (like holding down the hotkey for your flame spell to create a flamethrower instead of a fireball you would get by tapping the button)), and you can dual wield one handed weapons now too or you can go with a sword in one hand and a spell at the ready in another.
Pauldrons seem to be separated like they were in Morrowind, which is awesome. I've also seen some screenshot speculation in the official forums that hints at the ability to customize the eyes of your character individually in character creation (I.E. one green eye and one milky white blinded eye). I think that would be awesome. Although I am inclined to believe that things like that are only available in default pre-set faces.
I'm going to shamelessly link the information thread that was created on the official forums (it's a collation of most of the info that is available on Skyrim at this point in time).

So who else is looking forward to the next installation of TES?

| I first purchased an Xbox 360 so I could play Oblivion. I am looking forward to Skyrim, but wish it and BF3 were not being released so close together!
I will not miss "grinding" just ensure that I maximize my attribute bonuses every time I level up. I thought Fallout 3/NV were better games than Morrowind/Oblivion just for that reason. I cannot play Morrowind/Oblivion without a notebook to record at every level-up my skill increases. Not necessary for Skyrim, and good-riddance as far as I am concerned.
I think the addition of perks will more than make up for the removal of attributes. I am a little sad about Acrobatics being removed as a skill, but that, too, could be easily added with perks, so I am not particularly worried. |

| No need for shields. I literally purchased my 360 to play Oblivion. Skyrim should be a grEAt game; you might want to check it out! |

| I've heard about how good Oblivion is, but I also heard Fallout 3 was great and I didn't like it. And they're like 2 peas in a pod apparently, same dev right?
I'm gonna try Oblivion out. _________________ |

| I have played Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, and even Morrowind (the game before Oblivion that came out on original Xbox).
I have liked them all. They are making a number of improvements on Oblivion. But it may be that you just don't enjoy RPGs as much as you do other games. I personally think Bethesda consistently make the best RPGs available today. |

| eh... ME2 is still the best RPG I've played to date.
I'm not really a big fan of forced 1st person view especially with the way oblivion combat looks
I played Fallout3 and it was good, but it didn't grab me.... I know NV is really just more the same
Skyrim does look promising, and I plan on gameflying it with a day 1 shipment though _________________ |

They did say at an E3 interview they were looking to bring it to consoles, might be after the PC release once they make sure it is solid.
