And get the beta key, the game is standalone and doesn't require the previous DoWII games. Write the key in the "add a game" option in Steam.
-It's a MP beta

...The game does have RPG elements though like wargear and skill points. |

| Moved  I might download it at some point. I quite liked the DoW series despite not liking RTS games in general. DoW and CoH are the only ones that really caught my interest (well it is Relic) _________________  |

It's a shame though that all the "character building" happens in SP which isn't present in the beta... The MP is fun too though, just abuse the Tech Marine, cap a victory point (in a team battle) and surround the point with turrets and a few AT squads.
IMO DoWII is probably the best RTS out there at the moment... Only races that can be played in a same way are Chaos and Space Marines IMO, Tyranids are probably hardest to master and then Eldar so it isn't just "build a massive army and mow down their base". |
